
Frank L. Binder, age 78, of Dade City, FL died September 28, 2000 after a brief illness. Mr. Binder was born August 26, 1922 in Yugoslavia and was a Mansfield resident until 1978. He retired after 35 years from General Motors and was a veteran of the U.S. Navy serving in WWII. Mr. Binder was a member of St. Timothy Lutheran Church as well as the Elks Lodge #2731 of Zephyrhills, Florida and the VFW Post #16 of Mansfield.
Surviving are his wife, Esther Grauer Binder of Florida; one son, Thomas Frank Binder of Seattle Washington; one daughter, Mari Ann Binder Futty of Columbus, OH; six grandchildren and three nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Margaret Dewald Binder; a son, Richard Binder; a brother, George Binder and a sister, Rose Winbigler.
Friends may call one hour prior to a 2:30 p.m. service on Wednesday, October 4th at the Ontario Home of Wappner Funeral Directors conducted by Rev. Bonnie Peltomaa. Burial will be in Mansfield Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to American Heart Association or Kobacker House at Riverside Hospital Hospice of Columbus, Ohio.
