
Frederick J. Bishop, 65, of 1097 W. Longview Ave. died early Tuesday morning October 26, 1999 at MedCentral Shelby following an extended illness. Mr. Bishop was born February 21, 1934 Mansfield being a life long resident. He attended Mansfield Holiness Chapel. Mr. Bishop was a veteran of the United States Navy serving during the Korean Conflict. Surviving are two sons and daughter-in-law, Scott & Kathy Bishop of North Carolina; and Tracy Bishop of Mansfield; one daughter, Katherine Demicell of Fort Worth, Texas; nine grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; one brother, Mark White of Mansfield; one sister, Ramona Paulser of Mansfield; three sisters-in-law, Ruby Bradley of Wheelersburg, Ohio; Stella Pearson of Florida; and Linda L. Johnson of Mansfield; one brother-in-law, John Lewis of Mansfield; and numerous nieces & nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Orrville S. & Mary M. Bishop White; his wife, Wilma Jean Lewis Bishop; one son, Stephen Daniel Bishop; two granddaughters, Tabitha & Tina Bishop; one brother, David Bishop; and one niece, Nichole Paulser. Friends may call at the Diamond Street Home of Wappner Funeral Directors on Thursday October 28, 1999 from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. Funeral services will be held on Friday October 29, 1999 at 1:00 p.m. at the funeral home conducted by Rev. David Farrel. Burial will be in Mansfield Memorial Park. Memorial contributions may be made to the family.
