Frederick Minard

Frederick 'Fred' Minard, 33, of Mansfield died unexpectedly Thursday September 18, 2003. Mr. Minard was born August 22, 1971 in Mansfield being a life long resident. Fred graduated from Mansfield Senior High School and was a student at North Central State. He enjoyed basketball, music and cutting hair.

Surviving are his father, Marshall Minard Sr.and step mother, Gail Minard, both of Mansfield; brothers and sisters and their spouses, Ronnie & Judy Minard, Belinda & Brandon Taylor, Amelia Fuller, and Marshall Minard Jr., all of Mansfield, Wendy Crawford of Columbus, and Teresa & Cory Wellington of Mansfield; step sister, Fran Jenkins; and two step brothers and their spouses, Frank & Shurrey Jenkins and Harold & Shannon Jenkins, all of Mansfield; three sons, Frederick 'Carae', Cedric and Janull; five daughters, Marcae, Alexus, Adarya, Khyla Blexus and Janasia; numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends; special cousin, Antonio 'PT' Eatmon; and three close friends, Quinta 'C.O.' Petty, Shawn Holly Monte Johnson 'Neckbone.' He was preceded in death by his mother, Olene Cheeks Minard.

Friends may call at the Providence Baptist Church 112 W. 6th St. Wednesday, September 24, 2003 from 12:00 until 1:00. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. conducted by the Rev. Thomas Hunt with Rev. Verdell Larson. Burial will be in Mansfield Cemetery. The Diamond Street Home of Wappner Funeral Directors assisted the family with arrangements.
