Fritz was employed as a car dealer most of his adult life. He actively sought out classic cars and muscle cars to purchase and sell. He enjoyed cooking and spending time with his family and friends. Fritz was a member of the Fraternal Order of the Eagles, Moose Lodge, and Mansfield Liederkranz.
He is survived by his soul mate, Lori Waite of Mansfield; parents, Fred and Beth (Arter) Theiss of Winter Haven, FL; sons, Jonathan Theiss of Grinnell, IA, and Viktor Theiss of Mansfield; step children, Stephanie (Joe) Beck and Steven (Rachel) Waite; step grandchildren, Brooksten, Brody, Braylen and Layla; sisters, Annie (JJ) Jebins of Winter Haven, FL and Jeannie Sherer of Shelby, OH; and lifelong friend, Willis (Sherry) Prout.
A party celebrating Fritz's life will be held Saturday, March 25, 2017, from 11:00 am to 3:00 p.m. in the Mansfield Liederkranz ballroom. The Ontario Home of Wappner Funeral Directors is privileged to serve the family.
