
Garlene Kiser, 60, of Ontario, died Friday morning May 30, 2003 at home following an extended illness. Mrs. Kiser was born August 16, 1942 in Elliotsville, Kentucky residing in the Mansfield area for the past 40 years. She was employed as head cook with Ontario Schools. She attended Wyandotte Freewill Baptist Church and enjoyed housekeeping, flowerbeds and watching her grandson. Garlene was a loving mother, wife and grandmother.
Surviving are her husband, Odis Q. Kiser of Ontario; two sons and daughters-in-law, Dan and Dawn Kiser of Crestline, and Jerry and Terri Kiser of Lexington; one grandson, Jerrod Kiser; her father, Cletis Mabry of Mansfield; five sisters, Betty Turner of Lexington, Kentucky, June McDaniel of Elliotsville, Kentucky, Gay Newman of Upper Sandusky, Ohio, Rose Bender of Mansfield and Toby McDonald of Tennessee; three brothers, Jay, Gene and Richard Mabry all of Mansfield; and a number of nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her mother, Tennie Goodan Mabry.
Friends may call at the Ontario Home of Wappner Funeral Directors Sunday from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. Funeral services will be held on Monday at 10:30 a.m. at the funeral home conducted by the Rev. Brian Phillips. Burial will follow in Mansfield Memorial Park. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of North Central Ohio.
