Gary Blevins

Gary H. Blevins, 54, of 7394 St. Rt. 97, died Monday March 4, 2002 at SCCI Mansfield following a brief illness. Mr. Blevins was born October 4, 1947 in Olive Hill, Kentucky. He was formerly in sales at Oak Grove and Crawford County Memory Gardens.

Surviving are his wife, Joyce Bailey Blevins; three sons and daughters-in-law, Gary and Allison Blevins of Shelby; Terry and Renea Blevins of Lexington; and Billy and Karen Blevins of Mansfield; his mother, Christine Stevens of Shelby; three step children and their spouses, Alison and Frank Chillemi of Steamboat Springs, Colorado; Steve and Michelle Bailey of Bellville; and Jennifer Bailey and her companion Larry Ross of Norwalk; seven grandchildren; seven step-grandchildren; one sister and brother-in-law, Kathy and Greg Hilson of Adario, Ohio; one sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Sherry and Joe Belcher of Butler; three nieces; one nephew; and his faithful companion, 'Mac'. He was preceded in death by his father, Homer Blevins; and his step-father, Carmel Stevens.

Committal services will be held on Thursday March 7, 2002 at 1:00 p.m. at the Oak Grove Chapel of Peace, where entombment will take place. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be to the charity of the donor's choice.
