Gary Boling

Gary T. Boling, 74, of Mansfield, went to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus early Friday morning, October 3, 2014 at home. He passed surrounded by his family and dog Oscar from congestive heart failure. Born August 17, 1940 in Portsmouth, Ohio, he was the son of Gordon and Phyllis (Thomas) Henderson.

Gary was a 1959 graduate of Mansfield Senior High and retired from Stone Container Corp. after 42 years of service. A born again Christian, Gary was a private gentleman and a loyal friend. He was a very proud man who was very wise and intelligent. He loved cars and trucks and knew the good from the bad.

He is survived by his wife, Laura (Swetlic) Boling; a son, Thomas (Gayleana) Boling; a step son, Mathew Davis; a brother, Lee (Joyce) Boling; a sister, Lucille (Don) Beard; nieces and nephews, Tye Boling, Christopher Boling, Gerard Ward and Wendy (Tye) Christy.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Friends may call from 4-7 p.m. Tuesday, October 7, 2014 at the Ontario Home of Wappner Funeral Directors, 100 S. Lexington-Springmill Road, Ontario. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, October 8, 2014 at Mansfield Memorial Park conducted by Pastor Mike Wilson. An additional hour of visitation, from 1:00 - 2:00 p.m., will be held at the funeral home prior to the graveside service.
