Gary E. Tate, 56, of Mansfield, died Saturday, October 13, 2007 at MedCentral Mansfield Hospital. Born July 22, 1951, in Mansfield, he was the son of Willard and Genevieve Kornakoski Tate. He was employed at Hollingsworth Tire and was a former manager at Hamad Tire in Rock Springs, Wyoming. Gary was a big Cleveland Indians fan.
He is survived by a daughter, Kristi Tate of Wheatridge, CO; son, Lucas Tate of Edgefield, SC; two grandchildren, Micah and Hunter Tate; brother, Michael Tate of Mansfield; and many nieces, nephews, and aunts and uncles. His parents preceded him in death.
There will be no calling hours or services at this time. The Diamond Street Home of Wappner Funeral Directors assisted the family with arrangements.
