

George Robert Quinn, 83 , of Lexington, died Sunday, April 7, 2013 at Crystal Care Center in Mansfield. Born September 2, 1929 in Bucyrus, Ohio he was the son of Edward Wheeler Quinn, Sr. and M. Helen (McClain) Quinn.
George worked various jobs during his lifetime. He was a mechanic, then an over-the-road truck driver for 12 years. He retired from Peabody Galion as a Superintendent after working there for 13 years. He was a member of the Bucyrus Masonic Lodge, belonged to the Scottish Rite Shriners and finally to the Aladdin Temple Shriners. He attended the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses on S. Main Street, Mansfield.
George is survived by his wife Karen (Haspeslagh-Miller) Quinn whom he married May 24, 1980 at the Presbyterian Church, Bucyrus, Ohio. Also survived by three children: Mark R. and Christine (Moore) Quinn of Bucyrus, Mary E. Quinn of Bucyrus, and Matthew S. and Linda (Langer) Quinn of Bellville. Two step-children: James M. and Kathleen (Holmes) Miller of Johnsville, and Laura A. (Miller) and Jimmie B. Duckworth of Sunbury, Ohio. Seven grandchildren also survive: Sandra (Miller) Pelfrey, Nathan C. Miller and James R. Miller, Adam S. Quinn, Kathleen M. Quinn, Gabrielle M. Quinn and Brenna A. Quinn; eight great grandchildren; two sisters: Betty C. Crichton and Patricia D. Secrest; and a brother: Donald S. Quinn. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother Edward Wheeler Quinn, Jr.
Memorial services will be held at a later date. The Ontario Home of Wappner Funeral Directors is privileged to serve the family of George Robert Quinn.
