Georgia Logan

Georgia M. 'Sis' McFarland Logan, 77, of Mansfield, died Wednesday February 9, 2005 at MedCentral Mansfield Hospital after an extended illness. Born November 8, 1927 in New Boston, Ohio, she was the daughter of Marshall and Nancy May Logan McFarland. She was a member of Community Baptist Bible Church. Mrs. Logan enjoyed cooking meals for church visitation dinners and the county home ministry.

Survivors include two sons and daughter-in-law, Michael and Laura Logan of Sarasota, Florida, and Doug Logan of Miami Beach, Florida; one daughter and son-in-law, Jane and Norman Hoskins of Mansfield; four grandchildren, Jason Hoskins, Amanda Clark, Erin Gold, and Sean Logan; four great grandchildren, Sean Logan, Jr., Jason Hoskins, Jr., Emelia Clark, and Bethany Clark; two brothers and sister-in-law, Willard McFarland of Portsmouth, and Marshall Jr. and Nancy McFarland of Cleveland; one sister-in-law, Wilma Brown of Lexington, Ohio; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Frank M. Logan, whom she married August 23, 1947 and died September 14, 2004; brothers, Charles Brown, Allen McFarland, Harold McFarland, and Robert McFarland.

Friends may call from 2 to 5 p.m. Sunday February 13, 2005 at the Ontario Home of Wappner Funeral Directors. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday at the Community Baptist Bible Church with Pastor Larry Myerchin and Pastor Joe Esarey officiating. Burial will follow in Mansfield Memorial Park. Memorial contributions may be made to the Community Baptist Bible Church.
