Gilbert E. Goodwill

Gilbert was employed as a roofer and machinist throughout his life. He was a council member of the Village of Mifflin and former member of the Board of Public Affairs for Mifflin. A good friend to everyone, he made friends wherever he went and enjoyed partying. Gilbert was a good dad and enjoyed passing along his love of fishing to his children and grandchildren. He was an avid NASCAR fan and his favorite driver was Dale Earnhardt. Putting together jigsaw puzzles was a favorite way to pass the time.

He is survived by four children, Amanda Goodwill, Matthew Goodwill, Jeremy Coon and Kiersten Marietta; five grandchildren, Rebekah, Nikolas and Jakob Goodwill, Austin Coon and Jeremy Coon Jr.; his mother, Shirley Goodwill; a sister, Janet (Toby) Britton; two brothers, Donald (Vicki) Goodwill and Dean (Robin) Goodwill; and special friends, Deb Urban and Vickie Shultz. He was preceded in death by his father, Gilbert Goodwill; and brother, Richard Goodwill.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date. Wappner Cremation Center is privileged to serve the family.
