
Glendle E. Horsley, 64, of Mansfield, died early Thursday morning, March 6, 2003 at MedCentral Mansfield following a courageous 12-year battle with cancer. Mr. Horsley was born July 17, 1938 in Olive Hill, Kentucky, residing in Mansfield since 1957. He retired after 36 years of service from ARMCO Steel and was a member of Wyandotte Free Will Baptist Church. Mr. Horsley was a member of Masonic Venus Lodge #152 F. & A.M., a 32° Scottish Rite Valley of Canton and a member of the Steelworkers Union. Glendle enjoyed deer hunting, fishing, woodworking and collecting Indian artifacts.
Surviving are his wife, Roberta Crose Horsley of Mansfield; three sons and two daughters-in-law, Michael and Tami Hunt of Mansfield; Brian Horsley of Mansfield; and Jeremy and Susie Horsley of Mansfield; one daughter, Tammi Horsley Fultz of Crestline; six grandchildren, Joshua and Justin Dronebarger; Shawna Hunt; Kennedy and Kelcey Hardwick; and Kylie Horsley; one brother and sister-in-law, Darrell and Judee Horsley of Lexington, Kentucky; three sisters and brothers-in-law, Betty and Fred Lennox of Aberdeen, Ohio; Fonda Horsley and Mike Beekman both of Louisville, Kentucky; and Deanna and Ed Dyer of Firebrick, Kentucky; one half sister and brother-in-law, Louise and Virgil Richmond of Emmerson, Kentucky; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Everett and Audra Horsley; one son, Timothy Horsley; one granddaughter, Brianna Horsley; and his mother and father-in-law, Walter and Nellie Crose.
Friends may call at the Ontario Home of Wappner Funeral Directors Saturday from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. Additional calling hours will be held Sunday from 6-8 p.m. at Globe Funeral Chapel in Olive Hill, Kentucky. Funeral services will be held Monday at 2:00 p.m. at the Globe Funeral Chapel conducted by Pastor Brian Phillips. Burial will be held in Hamilton-Mawk Cemetery in Tarfork, Kentucky.
