Grace Cunningham

Grace L. Cunningham, 89, of Mansfield died early Saturday morning, January 18, 2003 at Belmont Tower in Ashland. Miss Cunningham was born August 16, 1913 in Bainbridge, Ohio to Clarence and Lura Childs Cunningham. Grace graduated from Ohio Wesleyan University. Grace lived in Chagrin Falls, Chambersburg, Pennsylvania and Reston, Virginia before moving to Ontario. She was formerly employed by Cleveland Trust and Time Life, both in Cleveland, Ohio, and the Wilson College for Girls in Pennsylvania. Grace attended Chagrin Falls Methodist Church as well as Ontario United Methodist Church.

She is survived by a sister, Martha C. Baer of Ashland, Ohio; a niece, Marcia Baer of Ontario, Ohio; a nephew, James Baer, his wife, Gloria and their son, Zachary of Mentor, Ohio. She was preceded in death by her parents, Clarence and Lura Cunningham and a sister, May Cunningham.

Friends may call at the Ontario Home of Wappner Funeral Directors Monday, January 20 from 12:30 to 1:00 p.m. Funeral services will follow at 1:00 p.m., conducted by Rev. James F. Winkler of the Ontario United Methodist Church. Burial will be in Chagrin Falls Cemetery on Tuesday, January 21 at 11:00 a.m.
