
Grace Prosser Poorman Fabian, 91, of Mansfield died early Tuesday morning, July 16, 2002 at Lexington Court Care Center. Mrs. Fabian was born July 23, 1910 in Lexington and spend her entire life in the area. She was employed with the Farmer's Market for 30 years. Grace was a member of Order of the Eastern Star, Chapter #17, Galion American Legion and Lexington V.F.W. Her favorite hobbies included her grandchildren and following the Cleveland Indians.
She is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, John and Janet Poorman of Mansfield; two daughters and a son-in-law, Shirley Cervone of Springfield, Virginia and Sharon and Patrick Dillon of Mansfield; two stepsons, Richard Fabian and Robert Fabian; two stepdaughters, Carol Schlup and Donna Dye; eight grandchildren; fourteen great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; numerous step-grandchildren and step-great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her first husband, John B. Poorman; second husband, Alvin Fabian; daughter, Carolyn Williams; granddaughter, Debbie Williams; and a son-in-law, Ralph Cervone.
Friends may call at the Diamond Street Home of Wappner Funeral Directors Thursday, July 18 from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Funeral services will be at the funeral home Friday at 10:00 a.m. conducted by Pastor Paul Gnagy. Burial will follow in Bellville Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association or the American Cancer Society.
