
Gregory Alan Baker, age 64, passed away on Saturday, October 4, 2025, at the Hospice of Blue Ash Care Center in Cincinnati, Ohio. He was born on May 25, 1961, in Mansfield, Ohio, to Lyle and Virginia (Bosch) Baker.
Gregory’s journey in life was marked by a resilient spirit and a loving community. He attended New Hope School in Mansfield and spent 43 years of his life as a resident at Brookside Extended Care in Mason, where he was deeply loved by both the staff and fellow residents. His connection with those who cared for him was profound, and he enjoyed many cherished moments in their company.
Gregory had a passion for travel and adventure. He was able to enjoy trips to Kings Island, the Indy 500, several Country and Western concerts, and various other outings organized by the wonderful people at Brookside. He also spent many years working at the Warren County Workshop, where he contributed in his own special way to the community.
He is survived by his father, Lyle Baker; stepmother, JoAnn Baker; stepsiblings, Jeffrey Glazer and Janis Glazer; and his special caregiver, Billie, along with many cherished family members and friends. Gregory was preceded in death by his mother, Virginia Baker.
The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the compassionate staff at Brookside Extended Care for their years of dedication and care.
Memorial contributions in Gregory’s honor may be made to Brookside Extended Care, 780 Snider Road, Mason, OH 45040, where he spent so many years surrounded by love and support.
The family will hold a private graveside service and kindly requests privacy during this time of mourning.
