Harold Haas

Harold Haas, 73, of 238 Concord died September 23, 1999 at home following an extended illness.  Mr. Haas was born June 21, 1926 in Graysville, Ohio residing in the Mansfield area most of his life.  He retired from White-Westinghouse and was a member of the Owls, and VFW post #9943.  Mr. Haas was a veteran of the United States Army serving during World War II. Surviving are one son, Terry Haas of Mansfield; one daughter and son-in-law, Vanessa & Dave McGinty of Mansfield; two sisters, Shirley Patterson, of Ashland, Ohio; and Velma & Vernon Christman of Ashland, Ohio; five grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; numerous nieces & nephews; and one special friend, Grace Skelton.  He was preceded in death by his parents, Ernest & Irene Shaffer Haas; one brother, John Haas; and one grandson, Andrew Haas. Friends may call at the Diamond Street Home of Wappner Funeral Directors on Sunday September 26, 1999 from 2-5 p.m.  Funeral services will be held on Monday September 27, 1999 at 10:00 a.m. at the funeral home conducted by Dr. Wray C. Smith.  Military graveside services will be held in Mansfield Memorial Park.
