Helen Crawford

Helen May Hunt Crawford, 95, of 4331 Tommy Lane died unexpectedly Wednesday morning, December 27, 2000 at MedCentral Mansfield. Mrs. Crawford was born June 22, 1905 in Millersburg, Ohio living in Ontario most of her life. She was employed as a cook with the Ontario School System and Ideal Electric. She was a member of the Ontario United Methodist Church and the Ontario Senior Citizens.

She is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, Gerald & Fern Crawford and Dean & Gerry Crawford, all of Ontario; one daughter, Carol Crawford Campbell of Ontario; 15 grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Albert John & Lena Ungerer Hunt; her husband, Thomas James Crawford; a brother, Roy Edwin Hunt; and a sister-in-law, Mabel Hunt.

Friends may call at the Ontario Home of Wappner Funeral Directors Friday from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. Funeral services will be held Saturday, December 30, 2000 at 11:00 a.m. at the Ontario United Methodist Church conducted by Rev. Dr. Clair H. Hess. Burial will be in Ontario Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Ontario United Methodist Church or the Mansfield Public Library for books on tape.
