
Helen K. Hass, 71, of Lexington, died Friday, June 13, 2008 at MedCentral Mansfield Hospital. Born January 28, 1937, she was the daughter of Harry and Hazel Kuhn Jones. She was formerly employed as a legal secretary with Anderson, Will, O'Donnell and Kitzler. She was a member of Amvets Post #26 and was a past board member of Hidden Lakes Campgrounds. Helen was an avid fan of the Cleveland Browns and OSU Buckeyes. She thoroughly enjoyed camping and vacationing with her children and grandchildren at Myrtle Beach. Helen also enjoyed crossword puzzles, emailing with her friends and going out to dinner. Her grandchildren will always remember her as their biggest fan.
She is survived by seven children, Jim Jane Heydinger of Marietta, Dennis Heydinger of Dayton, Jane Heydinger Goodall and Nancy Roger Heydinger Howell, all of Lexington, Richard Hass of Mt. Gilead, Lori Hass of Alliance, Tracy Shawn Marshall of Ontario; twelve grandchildren, Bethanie, Melissa Goodall, Brian Goodall, Jr., James Heydinger, Jr., Jillian Heydinger, Chad Wyrick, Cayse Howell, Ethan and Eric Hass, Danny, Ashley and Katlyn Floro; two great-grandchildren, Kiera Fouts and Eathon Floro; brother, Paul JoAnn Jones; two sisters, Ruth King, Betty Milton "Red" Daniel; and sister-in-law, Betty Rettig. She was preceded in death by her husband, Lonnie B. Hass; parents; son-in-law, Brian Goodall; and brother, James Jones.
Friends may call from 5-8 p.m. Monday, June 16 and 12-1 p.m. Tuesday, June 17 at the Ontario Home of Wappner Funeral Directors. Funeral services will be Tuesday at 1:00 p.m. at the funeral home with Dr. Pentti J. Maki officiating. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Cemetery, Plymouth.
