Helen L. McFadden, 88, of Mansfield, died Monday, August 30, 2004, at Mifflin Care Center after an extended illness. She was born September 21, 1915, in New Albany, Indiana to John and Bertha Lepport Warman. A Mansfield area resident most of her life, Helen enjoyed cooking and helping other people. She attended First Church of the Open Bible.
She is survived by her husband of 59 years, Ralph McFadden; a son, Gary McFadden of San Rafael, California; three grandsons, Matthew, Benjamin and Noah McFadden; a sister, Mary Jean and George Popp of Indiana; and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by three brothers, John, Wesley and Wayne Warman.
Funeral services officiated by Dr. John D. Freeman will be held Friday, September 3, 2004 at 1:00 p.m. at the Diamond Street Home of Wappner Funeral Directors. Friends may call at the funeral home one hour prior to the service. Burial will follow in Mansfield Memorial Park.
