
Howard Manning, 67, of Bailey Lakes, Ohio died January 2, 2001 at his residence after an extended illness. He was born April 6, 1933 in Ashland, Ohio to Alfred & Kathrine Pence Manning. Mr. Manning was a Veteran of the U.S. Army serving in the Korean Conflict. He was a self-employed painter who loved camping and fishing.
He is survived by his wife, Ruth Ann Eastman Manning of Ashland, OH; two daughters and son-in-law, Michele Gretten and her special friend, Steve McCallister of Mansfield, OH and Cheryl & Roger Hoover of Mansfield, OH; four grandchildren, Stephanie, Nicole, Jeremy and Wayne; one great granddaughter, Abby; one half sister and two half brothers. He was preceded in death by his parents, a son, Michael Manning and a daughter, Kimberly Manning.
Friends may call at the Diamond Street Home of Wappner Funeral Directors on Thursday, January 4, 2001 from 6-9 p.m. Services will be held at the funeral home on Friday, January 5, 2001 at 10:30 a.m., conducted by Rev.
