
Hoyoung Chung, D.O., 52, of Mansfield died Wednesday morning, January 1, 2003 at the Cleveland Clinic Foundation after an extended illness. Dr. Chung was born February 21, 1950 in South Korea living in the Mansfield area since 1994. He was a member of the Ohio Central K.S.D.A. Church in Columbus, Ohio where he was Head Elder. He was a member of the American Medical Association, American Osteopathic Association, American Association of Pain Management and the American College of Alternative Medicine.
He is survived by his parents, Changnam & Oksoon Kim Chung of Mansfield; his wife, Insook Lee Chung of Mansfield; four children, Elizabeth S. Chung, Mary I. Chung, Joshua S. Chung and Rebecca S. Chung, all of Mansfield; seven brothers, Hoyeol of South Korea, Eric of California, John and Peter of Virginia, Jack of Maryland, Michael of Japan and Joseph of Connecticut; a sister, Linda Kim of California; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Memorial services will be held Saturday at 7:00 p.m. and funeral services Sunday at 2:00 p.m., both at the Seventh Day Adventist Church conducted by Pastor David Jang and Pastor Hanbong Lee. Graveside services will be held Monday at Mansfield Memorial Park. The Ontario Home of Wappner Funeral Directors is assisting the family with arrangements.
