

Jack retired from the AK Steel Co. following 37 yeas of service and was a veteran of the United States Army. He was always on the move and loved being outdoors ~ whether it was working in his yard, hunting or riding his bicycle.
He is survived by his wife of 40 years, Georgia (Thatcher) Cooper; his mother, Josephine Breeze; four children, Debra Phillips of Iberia, Tresa (Greg) Hess of Ashland, Michelle (George) Myers of Greenwich and Chuck Creswell of Mansfield; five grandchildren, Nathan, Michael, Katie, Megan and Whitney; sisters, Augusta (Richard) Burdine of Mansfield, Nellie (Robert) Adams of Mansfield and Gwen (Albert) Mullins of Crestline; a brother, Estill (Rebecca) Breeze, Jr. of Mansfield; numerous nieces and nephews; and a life-long friend, Norman Moore.
He was preceded in death by his father, Jack Cooper; his step father, W. Estill Breeze; a brother, Fred O. Cooper; a sister, Maggie Isabelle Cooper; a sister-in-law, Mona "Sally" Cooper; his mother-in-law, Mary Messer; and numerous aunts and uncles.
Private services will be held at the convenience of the family.
