

Jackie Starrett, 75, of Mansfield, died Friday, December 18, 2015 at OhioHealth Mansfield Hospital. Born July 25, 1940 in Springfield, Ohio, she was the daughter of Linwood M. and Susan Fern (Seaman) Leonard.
She was a 1958 graduate of Springfield High School and attended Bowling Green State University. She was formerly employed at Performance Foods Corp where she was an office manager for 23 years. She retired from Target where she was a team leader in the food service department and was a member of the FunCenter Chordsmen Chordettes, Jobs Daughters and was a Girl Scout Leader and a room mother at Prospect School. She enjoyed watching Malabar High School football and loved to crochet. She also enjoyed cross stitch, gardening, cooking and watching the Food Channel.
She is survived by her husband, Jerry Lee Starrett; children, Lori (Andy Scodova) Feeney of Mansfield, Brian (Kris) Saprano of Colorado, Shawnell (Ryan) Queen of Cincinnati and Danica Noel Starrett of Mansfield; seven grandchildren, Jami (Anna) Feeney, Mark Feeney, Ben Saprano, Micaela Saprano, Grayson Queen, Lyla Queen and Flynn Queen; a sister, Vicki (Dick) Matthies of Springfield, Ohio; her mother-in-law, Janet Ione Starrett; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her father-in-law, James Hudson Starrett.
A Gathering for family and friends will be from 10:00 - 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, December 30, 2015 at the Ontario Home of Wappner Funeral Directors, 100 S. Lexington-Springmill Road, Ontario with a memorial service to follow at 11:00 a.m. conducted by Dr. Richard Leo Rader.
