James F. Conner, 75, of 2426 Wedgewood Dr. died October 8, 1999 at Ohio State University Hospitals following an extended illness. Mr. Conner was born September 1, 1924 in Mansfield being a life long resident. He retired from plumbing and heating sales. James loved hunting, fishing and outdoor activities. Surviving are his wife, Norma L. Mitchell Conner of Mansfield; two brothers, Thomas and David Conner of Mansfield; and eight nieces & nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Harry & Lena Schroeder Conner. Friends may call at the Diamond Street Home of Wappner Funeral Directors on Monday from 5-8 p.m. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday at 2:30 p.m. at the funeral home conducted by Rev. Lon McSherley. Burial will be in Little Washington Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Johns United Church of Christ.
