Born January 27, 1984, in Mansfield to James K. and Rita L (Pence) Cushing, he was a lifelong Mansfield resident and a 2002 graduate of Mansfield Senior High. Jimmy had a zest for life and lived life in the fast lane, following in his father's footsteps, racing 4-cylinder cruisers and Jim's sprint car. Jimmy enjoyed watching racing and going to racing events, attending the World 100 at Eldora Speedway every year. He also enjoyed fishing with his dad and daughters, boating on Lake Erie, playing corn hole, playing cards, gambling, listening to rock and country music and speaking in riddles.
He loved his family deeply, especially his 3 beautiful daughters, and was so proud of becoming a grandfather. He was a jack of all trades and would help others with their vehicles and repairs on their homes and was there for his family and friends in any way he could help. Jimmy was a kind and caring man and would give the shirt off his back or shoes off his feet to someone in need.
Jimmy is survived by his parents, James and Rita Cushing; brother, Jason (Holly) Cushing; daughters, Alexis (Noah Worsham) Cushing, Brooklyn (Quentin Meadors) Cushing and Chloe Cushing; granddaughter, Roselyn Marie Worsham; grandmother, Pearl Pence; nieces, Jasmine Cushing and Autumn Newsome; Aunts, Rebecca Perkins, Bev (Gary) Smith, Shelly Pence, and Judy Farst; best friend and mother of his children, Amber (Chuck) Hensley; and numerous and other family.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Kenneth Cushing, Jean (McCarrick) Cushing and Oatis Pence; Uncles, Norm Cushing, James Perkins, and Randy Farst; Cousin, Tammy Dudley, and special friend, Juan Nolasco.
