James Dunlap, 85, of Perrysville, passed away Thursday, December 9, 2021 at Good Shepherd Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation Campus. Born July 11, 1936 in Lincoln County, West Virginia, he was the son of Addison and Ethel (Brogan) Dunlap.
James drove truck his entire working life retiring from Westinghouse. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, cutting wood and yard work and also loved to research any and all things. He loved his family very much and will be truly missed by all.
He is survived by his wife of 67 years and best friend, Barbara (Wetzel) Dunlap; his sons, Franklin (Janet) Dunlap and Jeff (Jill) Dunlap; his daughter, Pam Dunlap; 11 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren; his brother, Gary (Judy) Dunlap; his sister, Gloris (Jack) Bridenbaugh; and his dog, Evie.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three sisters, Havannah Myers, Emma Roberts and Mott Garrison; and a grandson, Josh Wolf.
Per James' wishes, there will be no services.
