
James P. Olivieri, 74 of 1450 Auer Blvd. Died November 20, 2000 at home following a brief illness. Mr. Olivieri was born March 3, 1926 in Italy residing in the Mansfield area most of his life. He retired from Mansfield City Schools in 1985 as an Vocational Automotive Instructor. He was a member of the Mansfield Liederkranz; Sons of Herman; German Central in Parma, Ohio; Ohio Retired Teachers; and a lifetime member of National Association of Retired Teachers. Mr. Olivieri was a veteran of the United States Navy serving during World War II. James favorite past times were golfing, dancing and gardening.
Surviving are his companion and soul mate, Jeanette Swigart; two daughters and sons-in-law, Virginia and David Reiff of Columbus, Ohio; and Sandra and Chris Carney of Mansfield; one son, James C. Olivieri of Columbus, Ohio; two grandchildren, Jessica Carney of Mansfield; and Andrew Reiff of Columbus, Ohio; two brothers, Anthony of Mansfield and Carl of Sidney, Ohio. He was preceded in death by his parents, Camillo and Esther Olivieri; one sister, Katherine Nezrick; and one brother, Michael Olivieri.
Friends may call at the Diamond Street Home of Wappner Funeral Directors on Wednesday November 22, 2000 from 3-5 and 7-9 p.m. Memorial services will be held on Friday November 24, 2000 at 10:30 a.m. at the funeral home conducted by St. Peters Catholic Church.
