
James 'Bill' Price, 70 of Mansfield, died Saturday afternoon, March 24, 2007 at Triumph Hospital after an extended illness. Bill was born March 20, 1937 to Howard and Laura Belle Price in Mansfield. James loved hunting, fishing, and watching football with his family and friends. He was a member of Mansfield Baptist Temple and enjoyed his outings at the #341 Moose Lodge where he had been a member for over 30 years. His greatest joy was his family.
Surviving are his beloved brothers, Howard Clayton Patricia Price, Jr. of Mansfield, John Merle Price of North Carolina; his sisters, Audrey John Caseman, Sr., Helen Troy Cole of Mansfield, Beverly Morgan of Columbus, Sally Tackett of Kentucky, and Viola Cameron of Mansfield; his beloved sons, Charles Rilla 'Lou' Price of Mansfield, Donald Belinda Price of Mexico, Missouri; his beloved daughters, Betty Louise Cooley and Debra Snyder of Mansfield; his step-children, Pam Ron Bise of Mansfield, Arlene Jeff Garner of Peoria, Arizona, Dennis Crista Mitchell of Georgia; twenty-one grandchildren and step-grandchildren; three great grandchildren; three step-great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. His beloved wife, Mary Edith Price, preceded him in death on October 8, 2002. He was also preceded in death by his beloved parents, Howard Price and Laura Belle Stevens; his first wife, Helen Marie Price; his brother, Roy Price; his sister, Nancy Keefer; granddaughter, Tabathia Bishop and a step-grandson, Timothy Mitchell.
Friends may call at the Diamond Street Home of Wappner Funeral Directors from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Wednesday, March 28, 2007. Funeral services will be held Thursday at 1:00 p.m. at the funeral home, officiated by Rev. Dale V. Adkins. Burial will follow in Oak Grove Memorial Park, in Lexington. Memorial contributions may be made in care of the family. Please join us for a family gathering at Liberty Park Pavilion following services.
