James Thomas

James Allen Thomas, 48, of Mansfield, died suddenly at his home on September 3, 2014. Born December 26, 1965 in Orange County, TX, he was the son of Fred Edward Jr. and Margaret Ann (McCort) Thomas. James graduated from Malabar High School in 1985. He went on to work for Montgomery Ward, Design Metal, and later, Superior Cleaning Services.

James was a huge Star Trek and Transformers fan, even having attended some conventions! His favorite coffee companion was his neighbor, Pam Owens, and in his free time, he enjoyed his time and friendships on the CB radio. James attended Cook Road Baptist Church.

Surviving are his sisters, Shirley (Dan) Elliott of Mansfield, Sharon (Keith) Dittmar of Columbus, Pam Thomas of Mansfield, and Elizabeth Thomas of Mansfield; brothers, John (Margie) Rokus of PA and Fred Thomas of Mansfield; uncle, Donald Thomas of WV; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

James was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Opal Thomas.
