
Jane Brown, 72, of Ontario, died Saturday, February 10, 2007, after a brief illness. Born March 12, 1934, in Galion to Lester and Florence Metz, both deceased. She met her husband, Bill, at Findlay College and they married May 29, 1957. He died January 6, 1994. Greatly missed by her family, they will eventually be in Heaven with her, as her Christian witness led her son and daughter to accept Jesus as their Lord and Savior. She touched many friends through her selfless giving and knowing she is with Jesus and her friends and relative brings great comfort. She taught school, piano lessons, and influenced and inspired many people. She was a volunteer at the Renaissance Theatre. She loved music and was a member of OMTA Teachers Association, Piano Guild and the Billy Graham Evangelical Association. She will be greatly missed by all. What a beautiful woman and inspiration to all!
Survivors are her daughter, Debbie Jim Wade of Crestline; son, Jay Kelly Brown of Columbus; granddaughter, Rachelle Jane Wade and great granddaughter, Ava Grace Wade of Bucyrus.
Friends may call the Ontario Home of Wappner Funeral Directors from 2-4 and 6-8 pm Wednesday, February 14, 2007. Funeral services will be 1:30 pm Thursday, February 15, 2007, at the funeral home with Pastor Kim Maurer of Ontario Christian Fellowship Church officiating. Burial will follow at Mansfield Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Jane Brown Memorial Fund at any Huntington Bank.
