Jane Jordan

Jane Lucille Jordan of Mansfield, passed away Friday, March 4, 2011, at Crestwood Care Center in Shelby. Jane was born September 17, 1936, in Taneytown, MD to Anthony and Mabel Vitkauskas. Following their move to Mansfield, Jane attended Mansfield Senior High School. She was a member of the Westwood Alliance Church, then the First Christian Church where she also worked as a secretary until her retirement in 1994.

Jane was an extremely giving woman and participated in many charitable activities and fundraisers during her time at First Christian Church. She enjoyed playing with her grandchildren and spending time with her family playing cards.

She is survived by her brother, Ellis McCormack of California; her children, Rick Jordan Gwen Pratt of Dallas, TX; Dianne Gerhart Guy Hoffman and Teresa Raymond Ingebrand all of Mansfield; special friend, Robert Russell of Day Spring; grandchildren, Jason Deidra Gerhart of Mansfield, Kate Jordan of Harrisburg, PA, Chris Sierra Cruse of Mansfield and Kenny Cruse of Mansfield; and great grandchildren, Alexis, Brynna, Lucas, Leland and Amelia.

Private memorial services will be held for the family. A celebration of life tribute will be held Saturday, March 12, 2011, at 1:00 p.m. at the home of Jane's daughter, Teresa.
