
Janet Sue Cooper, 64, of Mansfield, died Friday morning, February 17, 2006, at MedCentral Mansfield Hospital after an extended illness. Born March 11, 1941, in Bartley, West Virginia, she was the daughter of George Rex and Julia Rose Osborne. She was a 1960 graduate of Iaeger High School in West Virginia. Janet was formerly employed at Richland Hospital and recently employed at Macy's. She was a member of Order of the Eastern Star, Ruth Chapter #17, was a huge fan of Elvis Presley and enjoyed square dancing. Janet loved many and was loved by many in return. An example of her loving, nurturing spirit was shown by volunteering to be a surrogate mother to three foreign exchange students for the entire year they spent in the United States.
She is survived by her husband, Randall Cooper; son and daughter-in-law, Bruce and Lynn Bolden of Boston, Mass.; daughter and son-in-law, Sheila and Brock Kisor of Mansfield; three grandchildren, Matthew Kisor, Zachary Bolden, and Sarah Bolden; mother, Julia York of Princeton, W. Virginia; brother and sister-in-law, George and Judy Osborne of Mansfield; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father, George Rex Osborne and brother, Jerry Osborne.
Friends may call at the Ontario Home of Wappner Funeral Directors, Monday, February 20, from 5-8 p.m. with Order of the Eastern Star services at 6 p.m. Funeral services conducted by Rev. Craig Cooper will be held Tuesday at 10:30 a.m. at the funeral home with additional calling hours from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. Burial will follow in Mansfield Memorial Park. Contributions in Janet's memory may be made to Hospice of North Central Ohio.
