Janet Hunt

Janet F. Hunt, 70, of Mansfield, died Sunday, November 26, 2006, at MedCentral Mansfield Hospital. Born January 18, 1936, in Mt. Vernon, she was the daughter of Gerald and Velma Ryan Kirkpatrick. Janet had worked for the VFW 3494 for many years where she was a member. She was also a member of the Bellville Church of God and AA.

Surviving are a son Gerald R. Pat Arthur of Mansfield; a daughter, Diantha Watkins of Ridgeville; two grandsons, John and Derek Lewellen; a great grandson, Taylor; two step granddaughters, Karen and Sherry; three sisters, Anne Mills of Mt. Vernon, Wanda Harry Dlesk of Bellville and Sandra Kenneth Phillips of Mansfield; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her 1st husband, Donald Arthur and her parents.

Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, November 29, 2006, at the Diamond Street Home of Wappner Funeral Directors with Revs. Darrell Clemons and Glenn Phillips officiating. Burial will be in Mansfield Cemetery. Friends may call one hour prior to the services at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association.
