Janet Wooten

Janet I. Wooten, age 79, of Mansfield, died Sunday July 25, 2004 at Winchester Terrace Nursing Home following an extended illness. Mrs. Wooten was born September 24, 1924 in Portsmouth, Ohio to Ottis and Charlotte Gove Robinson, and has lived in Mansfield the past 40 years.

She is survived by two daughters and a son-in-law, Diane and Ray Curtis of Mansfield and Connie Risteen of Cleveland, OH; four grandchildren and their spouses, Jeff & Beth Curtis, Jarrod & Wendy Curtis, Bridget & Tim Priestley, and Erin Baka; four great-grandchildren, Madison and Cameron Curtis, and Olivia and Sydney Priestley; one sister, Alice Rice of Portsmouth, OH; and two brothers, Don Robinson of Florida, and Jim Robinson of Dover, Delaware. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Mylo Wooten; and her sister, Bertha Elizabeth Robinson.

Friends may call at the Brant Funeral Home 1503 Offnere Street, Portsmouth, Ohio one hour prior to the Funeral Services. Funeral services will be held Wednesday July 28, 2004 at 1:00 p.m. at the Brant Funeral Home. Burial will be held in Rosemont Road Cemetery in Portsmouth, Ohio. Memorial contributions may be made to American Cancer Society.
