Janette Marquardt

Janette Maria Marquardt, 60, of Mansfield, died Sunday, November 22, 2009, at her residence. Born August 4, 1949, in Mansfield, she was the daughter of Vincent and Mary Thompson Rocco. A homemaker, she was a graduate of Madison High School. She was a member of First English Lutheran Church and enjoyed spending time with her family especially when she could spoil her grandchildren. Janette loved traveling, having traveled to Hawaii, Niagara Falls and Europe. She also enjoyed bowling, flea marketing, casino's, gambling and collecting Coca-Cola memorabilia.

Surviving are her husband, Roger Marquardt; a son, Randy Carla Marquardt of Mansfield; a grandson and granddaughter, Taylor and Gina Marquardt; her mother, Mary Rocco of Mansfield; a brother, James Sue Rocco of Mansfield; two sisters, Jeanne Rich Peters of Mansfield and Jackie Paul Marcelonis of Mansfield; numerous nieces and nephews; her mother-in-law, Bertha Rothlisberger; and a sister-in-law, Cathy Don Cass of Mansfield. She was preceded in death by her father, Vincent Rocco; and a brother, Timothy Rocco.

Friends may call from 5-8 p.m. Monday, November 23, 2009, at the Diamond Street Home of Wappner Funeral Directors, 98 S. Diamond Street, Mansfield. Funeral services will be held 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, November 24, 2009, at the funeral home conducted by Rev. Cloyd Kress. Burial will follow in Mansfield Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of North Central Ohio or to the American Cancer Society.
