
Jeffrey H. Bivens, 42, of 49 Greenwood Ave. died unexpectedly Wednesday March 6, 2002 at MedCentral Mansfield Hospital. Mr. Bivens was born July 10, 1959 in Mansfield being a life long resident. He was employed Seven-Up Distribution and was a veteran of the United States Army. Jeffrey was an avid Browns and Indian fan along with being a caring and loving person.
Surviving are his wife, Laura Hoffman Bivens whom he married April 11, 1981; two sons, Christopher Roseberry and his companion, Dana Darko; and Joseph Bivens of Mansfield; one daughter, Angela Bivens of Mansfield; one granddaughter, Brianne Roseberry; one brother and sister-in-law, Terry and Debbie Bivens of Mansfield; one sister and brother-in-law, Shawnee and Brian Smith of Mansfield; his father and step- mother, James and Janice Bivens of Mansfield and of Arizona; his mother, Betty Bivens of Mansfield; his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Bob and Marlene Hoffman of Mansfield; one brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Robert and Donnita Hoffman of Florida; one sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Lisa and William Fliger of Mansfield; and several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
Friends may call at the Diamond Street Home of Wappner Funeral Directors on Sunday March 10, 2002 from 2 to 6 p.m. Funeral services will be held on Monday March 11, 2002 at 10:30 a.m. at the funeral home conducted by Pastor John Freeman. Military graveside services will be held in Mansfield Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the family.
