Jeffrey Whisler

Jeffrey Alexander Whisler, age 17, died unexpectedly early Saturday morning due to injuries received in an automobile accident March 13, 2004. He was born in Shelby, Ohio August 3, 1986 to Dale and Barbara Cuppy Whisler living in this area all of his life. Jeff was a senior at Mansfield Senior High School. He had a passion for working on cars, listening to loud music and hanging out with his friends.

Surviving are his parents Dale and Barbara Whisler of Mansfield; two brothers and sister-in-law, Philip and Melissa Whisler and Dale Erik Whisler all of Mansfield; a sister, Jenifer Whisler of Fredericktown; two nephews, Austin and Dillan Whisler of Mansfield; his girlfriend, Tina Clever of Mansfield and their baby to be born in July, Jeffrey Alexander Whisler, Jr.; maternal grandparents, Howard and Marlene Cuppy. Jeff will be missed by his aunts, uncles, cousins and a multitude of friends. He was preceded in death by paternal grandparents, Lawrence 'Gene' and JoAnn Whisler.

Friends may call at the Diamond St. Home of Wappner Funeral Directors on Tuesday, March 16, 2004 from 3-5 and 6-8 pm. Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday, March 17, 2004 at 10:00 am at the funeral home by Rev. Keith Carlisle. Burial will be in Mansfield Memorial Park. Memorial contributions may be made in care of the family. A dinner will be provided for family and friends following the services at First Wesleyan Church 1908 Park Ave. West.
