Jennifer Lynn Lawhorn

Jennifer Lynn Lawhorn, age 44, passed away late Monday evening, November 12, 2018, at University Hospitals Samaritan Medical Center in Ashland, Ohio. Now dancing with the angels, she is home in Heaven. She was born March 23, 1974, in Mansfield, Ohio, to Ralph V. and Erma (Stamper) Lawhorn.

She attended DR Services in Ashland. Jennifer was very happy and always laughing. She loved being surrounded by people and as soon as you met her, you loved her. Jennifer had a very determined spirit and was extremely strong: she never let anything hold her back. She faced life with a fearless tenacity. Jennifer loved music and her smile became bigger and brighter whenever she heard a favorite song.

Jennifer is survived by her parents, Erma Lawhorn (Terry Gault) and Ralph Lawhorn; two step brothers, Clint (Tabitha) Gault and Guy (Amy) Gault; aunts and uncles, Pat (Joe) Hargett, Connie Martin, Mack (Tina) Fitzpatrick, Mark (Carla) Fitzpatrick and Shirley Williams; numerous cousins; and two special friends from school, Chris and Lee. She was preceded in death by her twin sister, Julia Ann Lawhorn; maternal grandparents, Jewel Fitzpatrick and Elmer Stamper; and paternal grandparents, Carlos V. Lawhorn and Virginia B. Lawhorn.

The family will receive friends from 5:00-7:00 p.m. Friday, November 16, 2018, at the Diamond Street Home of Wappner Funeral Directors, 98 S. Diamond St., Mansfield. The funeral service conducted by Joe Nichols will be held in the funeral home on Saturday at 9:00 a.m. She will be laid to rest in Mansfield Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the family or Kimberly Williams at DR Services.
