
Jerleen D. 'Jewell' Link, 75, of Mansfield died Friday evening, October 10, 2003 at MedCentral Mansfield Hospital. She was born January 25, 1928 in Scranton, Kentucky to Steven and Jemima Thomas Miller. Jewell was a Mansfield area resident most of her life. She retired from Greyhound Food Service at General Motors in Mansfield.
She is survived by a daughter, Delma Phillips of Mansfield; two sons and daughters-in-law, Billy and Sharon Link and Dennis and Tammy Link, all of Mansfield; ex-husband, Estel Link of Mansfield; a son-in-law, Kenneth Phillips of Mansfield; six grandchildren, Renee Stamper, Kim Bryant, Ken Phillips, Jr., Vicki Reip, Billy Link, Jr. and Kelley Link; six great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandson; and a brother and sister-in-law, Claude and Elizabeth Miller of Dayton, Ohio. She was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Tammy Vanessa Link; twin sister, Pauline Bailey; and three brothers, Paul, William and John Miller.
Friends may call at the Ontario Home of Wappner Funeral Directors Monday, October 13 from 4-8 p.m. Funeral services conducted by Rev. Brian Phillips and Rev. Harold Nickell will be held Tuesday at 10:30 a.m. at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Mansfield Memorial Park. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association or the National Kidney Foundation.
