She was born November 18, 1932, in Alliance, Ohio, to the late Louis and Jirolama (Tomasetti) Maccioli. Jerrina graduated from Alliance High School and was a member of St. Peter's Catholic Church. Coming from a large Italian family of 11 children, she learned valuable lessons and one of the best was how to cook and bake. She spoiled family and friends alike with her delicious dishes. Jerrina was a very loving person and her family was most important to her, so she made certain to spend as much time as possible with each and every one of them. She worked at Reed's Department store for 2 years before working at Hi Stat Manufacturing for many years. Playing cards was one of her favorite activities and she enjoyed lively games of Euchre and Pinochle with her friends.
Jerrina is survived by two daughters, Lisa (Steve) Pollman and Holly Hoover; three grandchildren, Geneva Pollman, Jasmine Hoover and Hayden Hoover; a brother, Frank Maccioli; and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by nine siblings, Louis, Carmen, Roosevelt, Albert, Michael, Cecelia, Elisabeth, Olga and Ferdinand; and her former spouse, Robert Heston.
A gathering of family and friends will be held Monday, January 11, 2021 from 5:00-8:00 p.m. at the Ontario Home of Wappner Funeral Directors, 100 S. Lexington-Springmill Rd.
