
Jerry L. Brawner, 53, of Mansfield died at home Monday morning, May 12, 2003. Mr. Brawner was born March 27, 1950 in Angola, Indiana residing in the Mansfield area for the past 16 years. He was employed in Mt. Vernon with Coyne Printing as a job estimator. Mr. Brawner was a member of Mansfield Seventh-day Adventist Church. Jerry enjoyed computers and was a veteran of the United States Army serving from 1970 to 1971 as a Medical Photographer.
Surviving are his wife, Linda Werman Brawner of Mansfield; one daughter, Kelly Brawner of Mansfield; two sisters and one brother-in-law, Patty and Dale Cluts of Paulding, Ohio; and Sonja Brawner of Portland, OR; two brothers, David and Allen Brawner both of Portland, OR; foster parents, Walter and Nedra Renshaw of Taconsha, MI; foster brother, Don Holevinski of Walla Walla, WA; mother-in-law, Edith Werman of Mansfield; two brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Bob and Louise Werman Shlemo of Tampa, FL; and Joe and Helen Werman Cermak of Eastlake, OH; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Alvin Brawner and Jean MacDonald; and foster sister, Celia Renshaw Taylor.
Friends may call at the Seventh-day Adventist Church, corner of Cook and Trimble Rd. on Thursday, May 15, 2003 from 6-9 p.m. Memorial services will be held at a later date. Memorial contributions may be made to the family. Wappner Funeral Directors are assisting the family with funeral arrangements.
