Jessie Rowena Hoffman

Loving, committed and dependable; these attributes personified Jessie. She is now reunited with her husband, Paul Jacob Hoffman. They were married November 27, 1948. Jessie was a dedicated wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Her passion in life was her family. Jessie was an American Legion Auxiliary Past President, former member of The Daughters of Herman and Life Member of VFW 3494.

Jessie is survived by her son, Howard (Marilee) Hoffman; daughter, Paula Ostheimer (Stan Shaum); granddaughters, Angela Ewan, Hilary Hoffman, Stephanie (Christopher) O'Brien and Haydan (Matthew) Schlarb; grandsons, Trucian (Kelly) Ostheimer and Seth (Amanda) Ostheimer; great-grandchildren, Savannah and Shane Ewan, Aria and Kacen Ostheimer, Nolan and Rory Schlarb, Isabelle Ostheimer and Wilder O'Brien; sister-in-laws, Bert and Betty Stoneburner; great nephew, Marvin Ramsey; and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Paul Jacob Hoffman; brothers, Howard Gale, Eugene and Conrad Stoneburner.

The family will receive friends from 10:00-11:00 a.m. on Friday, November 29, 2019, at the Diamond Street Home of Wappner Funeral Directors, 98 South Diamond St. Service will follow at the funeral home starting at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Matt Pond officiating. She will be laid to rest in the Mansfield Cemetery.
