John Allen Milner, 52, of Mansfield died Friday afternoon, July 5, 2002 at Ohio State University Hospital after a brief illness. Mr. Milner was born February 13, 1950 in Cambridge, Ohio living in the Mansfield area all his life. He had been employed as a warehouse coordinator with the News Journal.
He is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Heather and Chye Beh of Mansfield; granddaughter, Hannah Beh of Mansfield; a brother, Richard Milner of Mansfield; close friend, Sue Morgan of Mansfield; and a nephew, Jayson Milner of Mansfield. He was preceded in death by his parents, Glenn Douglas and Martha Belle Lighty Milner and a grandmother, Alice Walcott.
Friends may call at the Diamond Street Home of Wappner Funeral Directors, Monday, July 8 from 6-8 p.m. Funeral services will be at the funeral home Tuesday at 10:30 a.m. conducted by Pastor Bruce Copley. Burial will follow in Oak Grove Memorial Park. Memorial contributions may be made to the Mansfield Police Department DARE Program.
