John J. Rose, 91, passed away Wednesday morning, January 16, 2019, at Ohio Veterans Home in Sandusky, Ohio. He was born August 9, 1927, in Dickenson County, Virginia, to the late Samuel P. and Mable (Kennedy) Rose.
He was formerly employed as a welder at Mansfield Aircraft Products. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army.
The family will receive friends from 12:00-1:00 p.m. Tuesday, January 22, 2019, at the Ontario Home of Wappner Funeral Directors, 100 S. Lexington-Springmill Road. The funeral service conducted by Pastor Hank Webb will follow at 1:00 p.m. He will be laid to rest beside his wife, Clemmie A. Rose, in Franklin Cemetery.
