
Joseph Boggs, 86, of Mansfield, died Saturday, December 1, 2007 at Kingston of Ashland. Born April 30, 1921 in Elliott County, Kentucky, the son of Caney and Rhoda Haywood Boggs. He retired from the City of Mansfield. Joe enjoyed fishing and hunting. A family man, he especially enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren.
He is survived by eight sons, Charlie Faye Boggs, Mark Boggs and Matt Laura Boggs, all of Mansfield, Jack Peg Boggs of TN, Ed Janet Boggs of GA, Tim Joyce Boggs of Lucas, Rusty Cheryl Boggs of Ashland and Luk Boggs of Findlay; two daughters, Linda Harris of Marengo and Debbie Dave Pfleiderer of Mansfield; grandchildren, David, Rob Stephanie, J. Daryl Jodi, Joe, Mark, Tiffany, Amanda, Justine, Nicole, Nathan, Evan, Carla, Tara, Tim and Thomas Boggs, John and Jeremy Eckels, Nikki Todd Bilancini, Christina Scott Whyte and Abby Pfleiderer; and great-grandchildren, Marrissa, Lorna and Aiden Boggs, Cody Payne, Kylee Bilancini, Ethan, Cara, Brayden and Demi Eckels, Doug and Charlie Bandy, Debbie Lyles, and Tiffany and Samantha Whyte. Preceding him in death was his wife, Irene Skaggs Boggs; granddaughter, Vicky Pfleiderer; son-in-law, James Harris; and fifteen brothers and sisters.
Friends may call from 4-8 p.m. Tuesday, December 4 at the Diamond Street Home of Wappner Funeral Directors. Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home with Rev.
