

Joy B. Lyles, 79, of Mansfield died Tuesday, February 24, 2015 at her home. Born February 28, 1935 in Quanah, TX, she was the daughter of James and Myrtle (Land) Jowers. Joy worked at Therm-O-Disc and was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of VFW 5438 in Vanceburg, KY. She loved playing cards wherever she could and especially loved playing Euchre at the Sons of Herman and the Moose.
She is survived by her son, James (Debbie) Lyles of Mansfield; daughter, Ronda Dunham (fiancé, Frank Snyder) of Mansfield; grandchildren, Steven (Stephanie) Lyles of Lordstown, Keith Lyles, Amanda (James) Riggenbach, Chris Lyles, and Nick Lyles, all of Mansfield, Ronald (Mikia) Lyles of Garrison, KY, Donald Lyles of Prestonburg, KY, and Joshua Dunham and Whitney Dunham, both of Mansfield; great grandchildren, Larry, Loren, Cody, Nadia, JJ, and Shelby; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Ronald Lyles; sons, Larry and Gary Lyles; brother, Jimmy Jowers; and sister, Janis Patterson.
Friends may call Friday, February 27, 2015 from 5:00-7:00 p.m. at the Diamond St. Home of Wappner Funeral Directors, 98 S. Diamond St., Mansfield. Funeral services will be held Saturday, February 28, 2015 at 10:30 a.m. at the funeral home conducted by Rev. Floyd Skaggs. Additional visitation will be held Sunday, March 1, 2015 at Gaydos Funeral Home in Kentucky from 1-2 p.m. A small graveside service will follow in Liles Cemetery in Camp Dix, KY.
