

Judy had a strong faith and a devoted love for her family. She was very supportive of her children and enjoyed supporting them in their swim team competitions. She continued to cheer on her grandkids and great-grandkids at their sporting events as well. Judy was always there for her grandchildren and never missed a birthday. She leaves behind a legacy of the importance of family.
Many will remember Judy for the many years she worked as a beautician. Judy never knew a stranger and could spark a conversation with anyone. She had a wonderful smile and loved to make people laugh until they cried. She also loved playing board and card games in her spare time.
Judy is survived by her children, Fran Applegate, Tammy (Gary) Norris, Michael Applegate, and Jacqueline Elgart; grandchildren, Chris (Lanisha) Clapper, Carley (Nick) Hamilton, Joshua Applegate, Kristi (Patrick) Crum, Shelby (Ryan) Rose, Gavin Elgart, and Jaxon Elgart; great-grandchildren, Kaleb Swanger, Cayden Clapper, Cayley Bryden, Bryley Bryden, Caliyah Clapper, London Hamilton, Mannix Crum, Vayda Applegate, and Lennon Applegate; nephews, John Swearingen and Rick Swearingen; and many cherished family and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Cora (Horsley) and Lynn Love Jr; her sister, Lillie Swearingen; grandson, Griffin Elgart; and son-in-law, Kenny Perry.
Per Judy’s wishes there will be no services. Memorial contributions may be made to the Salvation Army of Mansfield. Advantage Funeral and Cremation Services by Wappner is honored to serve the Applegate family.
