

Karolina Hoffmann, 86, of Mansfield, died at the Apostolic Christian Home, Rittman, Ohio on Saturday, April 23, 2016. Karolina was born August 9, 1929, in Mramorak, Yugoslavia. She came to the U.S. in 1952. She was a homemaker and former employee of Therm-O-Disc. Karolina loved her family and spent many years as a caregiver. She cherished time with her grand children and great grandchildren. She was a member of the Apostolic Christian Church, 1332 Middle Bellville Road and former resident of the Apostolic Christian Church Retirement Center. Her love of gardening followed her from her home to the many flower beds she tended at the retirement center.
She is survived by four daughters and sons-in-law, Sieda and Chip Hill, Katie and Tony Vogel, Ursula and Bryce Gerber and Ingred and Doug Vukov; one son, Richard Hoffmann; 13 grandchildren; 24 great grandchildren; one sister, Joann (Phillipp) Kampf; and two brothers, Ludwig (Rosie) Reiter and Herman Reiter. She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Hoffmann; an infant daughter, Carolina Hoffmann,; her parents, Christian and Katharina Reiter; and a sister, Margareta (John) Richter.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, April 27, 2016 at the Ontario Home of Wappner Funeral Directors conducted by the Apostolic Christian Church. Burial will follow in Mansfield Cemetery. Friends may call one hour prior to the service, from 10:00 - 11:00 a.m., at the funeral home on Wednesday.
