Katherine Morris

Katherine Morris, 89, of Mansfield died Sunday morning, September 5, 2004 at her daughter's home after a brief illness. She was born January 31, 1915 in Mansfield to the late Anton and Julia Herrick Bohland. Living in Mansfield all her life, Katherine worked at the American Knitting Mill and was a member of St. Peter's Catholic Church. She enjoyed sewing and cross-stitching.

She is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Barb and Ken Alt of Mansfield; two grandchildren, Monica and her husband, Todd Hoovler and Nicholas Alt both of Mansfield; a sister-in-law, Irene Bohland of Sandusky; and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William; two brothers, Philip and Herman Bohland; and three sisters, Margaret Dapper, Betty Pataky, and Eva Jergens.

Friends may call at Diamond Street Home of Wappner Funeral Directors Tuesday, September 7, 2004 from 3-5 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. A vigil service will be held at 7 p.m. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, September 8, 2004 at St. Peter's Catholic Church at 1 p.m. Burial will follow in Oak Grove Memorial Park. Memorial contributions may be made to MedCentral Hospice.
