Kathleen Morrison

Kathleen Mary Waines Morrison, 88, of Mansfield, Ohio died Tuesday morning, October 2, 2001 at Brethren Care Village after a brief illness. Mrs. Morrison was born May 4, 1913 in Shelby, Ohio. She graduated from Shelby High School. She was a member of St. Mark's Episcopal Church in Shelby and the Order of Eastern Star. Mrs. Morrison loved flower gardening and her backyard birds.

She is survived by two daughters and sons-in-law, Heather L. & Gerald Forup of Bellville and Stephanie & Tony Herz of Mansfield; five grandchildren, H. Regan Forup, Douglas Forup and his wife Taundra, Bradley Forup, Tiffany Herz and Joshua Herz; two great-grandchildren, Brittany Sterling and Thane Forup; a sister, Edith Ebersole of Huron, Ohio; a brother and sister-in-law, Jack & Maxine Waines of Sequim, Washington; and nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Mose & Mary Ann Taylor Waines; her husband, Judson A. Morrison; three sisters, Jessie Wilkinson, Elsie Hursh, and Eleanor Stock; and a brother, Mose Waines, Jr.

Friends may call at the Ontario Home of Wappner Funeral Directors one hour prior to memorial services to be held Friday at 7:30 p.m. conducted by Father John Jorden. A private burial will be held at a later date at Oakland Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Grace Episcopal Church.
